New School Buddies for 2017-2018

Congratulations to our new school buddies 2017-2018
This year our buddies will be very busy organising playground games and termly inter house playground competitions. They will also be there as pupil support at play and lunch times ensuring that friendship is at the centre of our play. Well done buddies I’m looking forward to working with you this year. What a day we have had, we started at Infinite Air on the FreeJump course with over 40 trampolines and box sections, we bounced all over the place. We also did the Bag Jump, standing at nearly 3 metres above the podium floor, we looked down on to the huge airbag, and all eyes were on us. We were at the highest point in Infinite Air, looking out over the whole park, waiting to jump! We nearly all did it!

We also had a fantastic day full of challenge at Beamish Wild. We had the opportunity to learn how to manage risk in a controlled environment and overcome our fears with the support of our friends whilst having FUN.

We all attended a safety briefing and practiced our skills on the ground before heading to the treetops. Beamish Wild’s staff were on hand to supervise us at all times, throughout our high ropes experience which were really, really high and scary.

We hope you enjoy our photos as much as we have enjoyed our day.

Mrs Lawson.

Bishop Cunningham Cup Match Reports

Here are our match reports from the first round of the Bishop’s Cup

Football Season 2015-2016

I am pleased to announce that the following have been named to form the Ss Peter and Paul RC Primary Football A Team: Charlie (Capt), Ben (VCapt), Adam, Callum, Denny, Eden, Chae, Kiane and Harry.

I have made this decision watching the children play football at lunch and playtimes.

Our first game will be in Bishop’s Cup, First Round, on Wednesday 7th October 3:30 at Monkton Stadium.

League games will be the same as last year and details on fixtures will be issued once confirmed with South Tyneside FA.

Could I remind children that it is a privilege to play football for the school football team and that there position on the team will depend on their behaviour in school.

Teams are made up of 7 players, substitutions can be made on a “rolling” basis and Matches will be refereed by young leaders from the host secondary school – there are NO offsides. If you believe that you may have transport issues please come and see me as soon as possible it may be possible to arrange lifts with other parents of a member of staff.
